Here is a list of essential items and equipment to include in this emergency kit, which should be kept easily accessible. Prepare your emergency kit now and remember to check its contents regularly.
a battery-operated radio (with spare batteries) to follow official instructions
a first-aid kit (alcohol, bandages, gauze pads, etc.)

Store the bag in an easily accessible place and check the kit's contents once a year, paying particular attention to the expiration dates of medications and food items. Also, replace the batteries.

- Generators (Good ones are expensive. Fuel storage is risky. They are noisy, a target for thieves, and pose maintenance problems, etc.)

- Mini gas heater (otherwise propane won't be able to heat a room)

- Propane cylinders (urgent: a real shortage will occur)
- A survival manual
- Sleeves: Aladdin, Coleman, etc… (Without this, it will be difficult to gain insight in the long term)
- Baby supplies: diapers, formula, creams, aspirin, etc…
- Washboards, bucket and dishcloth, with wringer (for laundry)
- Stoves (propane, Coleman, and kerosene)

- Gas cylinder holder (urgent: without it, using small gas cylinders is dangerous)
