Radio208 plays a selection of progressive, classic rock tracks and punk from 1964-1984. The station has no announcers/DJs - but news on top of the hour (in Danish) is due later.

Radio208 first went on the air in January 2018 from Denmark as a web radio station; as from December 2019 also on Medium Wave 1440 kHz in the larger Copenhagen area. Also audible on Short Wave 5970 kHz (at 0700-1600 UTC) in parts of Europe.

Most car radios and portable radios will tune FM as well as AM (Medium Wave). Press the AM knob – and tune in 1440 kHz (1.44 MHz), and you’ll be able to hear Radio208 in most of the major Copenhagen area.

The station name originates from the wavelength of 208 metres - which is the same as the frequency 1440 kHz.
