Hello dear SWL friends, today I think to make the rule of the SSB SWL contest 2025. During 8 months we will listen important amateur radio SSB contests from March to October 2025 and DX expedition on rare DXCC. These amateur radio contest are only organize by amateur radio clubs during the week ends. The goal will be to listen a maximum of DXCC on 10, 12, 15, 17, 20 and 40 meter SSB mode ( USB and LSB for 40 meter ) You can participate when you are free. The goal is to have fun. I will give the list and info about these contest soon. I will not ask sponsor for this contest. I will give only awards for 1 to 50 DXCC (bronze) , 51 to 100 (Silver), 101 to 150 (Gold), 151 to 200 (Diamond) 201 to 250 DXCC (Platinum) The rules are very simple;: when you have listened a DXCC example USA it's OK, you can listen on any band in SSB between 10 and 40 meter. So after you have logged USA now you must try to listen to another DXCC. They are more of 300 DXCC in the world. Some are very rare. With these 10 amateur radio contests you can listen a lot of DXCC. For SWL friends who don't have SSB radio receiver they can use a Kiwi or WEB SDR. I will give links to the list of DXCC. Log will be Date, time UTC, Frequencie, call sign of the amateur radio operator of the DXCC and DXCC name. The report will be like 5/9 radio 5 signal 9. If you dont have experience to listen amateur radio bands i will give much important information. I make a Facebook group for listeners of SSB mode. You can joint this group Thank you de Frank SWL

If you dont have a radio receiver with SSB mode you can use a smartphone, a tablet or a computer

For the moment i received only 3 answer for my article about the SSB SWL Contest 2025. I will wait and if listeners are not interested in this SSB SWL contest i will not organize it. if you want to work this contest you must send me a private message by Facebook Messenger before the 10 February 2025 please
